ALLSTATE FOUNDATION
PH:  248 669-9700
Ask for Jack or Lisa

One of the advantages of Allstate Foundation is all of the equipment they have.  When you find a small company and its winter time and you ask them to come out and go through the frost line, many of the other companies will tell you no because they cannot afford to break down 1 or 2 machines because of the hard ground.   Allstate Foundation has been in the business for such a long time they have accumulated many machines and not only can they handle your needs in a short period of time, but they are one of the only company's I know who will come out in the winter (a lot of frost) and do your job.

Keep in mind that winter digging cost more money.  All of the company's, including Detroit Edison and the gas company's have an extra charge once winter comes.

Just a reminder here.  If you are ever going to have a three car garage, this is the time to do it.  It will never become less expensive than now.   In most cases you can add a three car garage at this point for $3500 to $4500.   Depending on how big you want it.  Add a little more money if you are going to have it be a side entrance garage.  More concrete, and different window additions are a big part of the additional costs.

Allstate Foundation is typical in they also offer block for your basement.  What I mean by this is: If you want your basement higher you can have the basement company add one or two additional 8" block to the top of the basement wall.  Generally they will not go any higher than 2 blocks, or an additional 16 inches.  There is a distinct advantage in adding block.  Many times it is difficult to have a real even basement wall on the top of the walls.  When you add block, they can even it out by laying the block straight.  Plus the added advantage of being able to correct squaring problems from the original pour.

Try and give the contractors a week or two notice if you can.
