BUILDING INSPECTIONS

I truly believe we have more quality built into our home construction industry because of the building departments.  Most builders are very concerned about their reputation and the quality of homes they build, but there are builders in the industry who would not build correctly if we didn't have the building departments doing the quality job they are presently doing.

Consider the building department your friend and not your enemy.   I have always found most building departments very cooperative and knowledgeable.
