Building Supplies

Redford Building Supply
Redford Michigan
West of Beechdaly on the South side of Plymouth Rd.

Ask For Tino or Nino

You have no idea the value of the correct building supply company.  What you will run into during the process will astound you and you will be lost with where to go to get things.

Some of the supplies which are offered at Country Building are:

  1. Fireplace flu's and supplies for natural fireplaces

  2. Brick fills for the interior of natural fireplaces

  3. Firebrick for natural fireplaces

  4. Mortar for your brick - Make sure you get enough mortar of the same kind.  You should not change brands after you have started.  If you do you will normally end up with color problems.  They won't properly blend together.

  5. Sand:  Make sure you order enough sand.  The same thing happens as in the brick mortar.  Sand comes from pits and there are different textures and colors.  Once you start with a sand color you do not want to order more sand because you cannot always get it from the same pit.  Sand is so cheap that you should order more than enough to cover the job.  The bricker will normally help you in this matter but the beauty of Country Building supplies is they have these answers for you from the beginning.  Another thing, you have no idea how much sand will be washed away from rainfall and fowl weather and other trades coming in and getting some.
