GRADING

Call me if you need a grader.  A good one is difficult to find.

You want to try and price this with one grader for the whole project.   There are several things to consider.

  1. Lot access

  2. Rough grading

  3. Backfill after basement is in

  4. Make lot workable for all contractors

You try and get one price for the entire job.  Sometimes the price to do all of the above items can exceed $3000 or so.  So you want to watch your money here.

Not all graders are as skilled as the next person, so make sure you find someone experienced.

Note***If one grader charges $75 an hour and takes twice as long to do the work as a grader who charges $95 an hour, which grader would you rather have working for you?
