Construction Heat & Power

This is not a real complicated information page.  If you are building in the winter time just try and seal everything off as soon as you can.  You normally would not think about heating your home until the insulation is in and all the doors are buttoned down.   When you drywall you will need the temperature to be at least 70 degrees before you can mud.  As you can see in the basement below we are pouring the concrete.  You cannot see the picture of the furnace here but we just hang a loaner furnace from the ceiling and heat the basement while we are pouring.  What I mean by a loaner furnace is we do not put in your real furnace until after the drywall has been sanded.  Just in case you don't know.  Concrete is a chemical reaction and creates its own heat.  That doesn't mean you can pour without having heat.  In most cases you can walk on it the next morning.  But don't drive on it for 30 days.
